The film is based on the 2013 book Falling Upwards: How We Took to the Air by Richard Holmes. Produced by Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman, and Tom Harper, the film stars Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Himesh Patel and Tom Courtenay.
