Promised Land
About “Promised Land”:
In Abrahamic religions, the "Promised Land" is an area in the Levant, called Canaan, that God chose to bestow, via a series of covenants, upon the Israelites, descendants of Jacob, the grandson of Abraham. Outside the Bible this tradition is mentioned in other ancient religious scriptures such as the Islamic Quran and classical historical records.
