About “Mighty Ducks the Movie: The First Face-Off”:

Mighty Ducks is an American animated television series that aired on ABC and the syndicated programming block The Disney Afternoon, the last show produced by the block, in the fall of 1996. The show was loosely inspired by the live-action Mighty Ducks films and the eponymous National Hockey League team, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Unlike the films and the hockey teams, the show was about a team of anthropomorphic hockey-playing ducks.
